Whether you are starting your 1st internship or have many years of professional experience, how you present yourself can make a difference. Setting a professional tone is crucial to building relationships and ensuring you have a positive, successful experience. Work etiquette is a standard that controls behavior expectations. It covers a wide range of aspects including body language, behavior, technology use, and communication. There is no universal agreement on standard workplace etiquette. It depends on the environment. However, some etiquette rules apply to almost every setting.
