The Center for Student Engagement (CSE) wanted to reach out to you about a unique opportunity that the University of Pikeville participants year, which is the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival. The winner of the Mountain Laurel Festival at the University of Pikeville will be sent to the state-wide competition and will represent the University of Pikeville at the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival in Pineville, Kentucky.
The University of Pikeville has established the following eligibility requirements in order to apply and be accepted into this year’s Mountain Laurel Festival. Any questions regarding eligibility should be directed to the Director of Student Activities & Leadership Development.
Candidates shall …
Be a female student, enrolled full-time at the University of Pikeville;
Must have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least a 2.5;
Must be available to attend all the scheduled events unless specific circumstances hinder your ability to attend a session or two, for example, an athletic event.
Must have not been previously married and/or is not currently married;
Must not have any children;
Has completed the Application Process before the deadline, along with submitted any supplemental documentation, such as Resume and Headshot Photograph.
