The 2021 UPIKE Symposium will take place on Friday, April 9th. The Symposium is a formal opportunity for students and faculty to share their academic scholarships in a professional setting.

The Symposium program features a panel discussion about scholarship at the University of Pikeville, a keynote talk by Dr. Fadi Al Akhrass (Medical Director of Infectious Disease & Infection Prevention at Pikeville Medical Center), a performance and exhibit from our Fine Arts programs, and academic poster and oral presentations by UPIKE students and faculty. Please see the schedule for the day’s activities. Note that some of the morning’s activities will occur via Zoom, while the remaining activities will take place in HPE 7.

Fitness Center Announcement


The Fitness Center will be closing on Thursday, April 29th, 2021 at 11:59 PM and will remain closed until the start of Summer Hours.

Summer Hours will be announced later this month, as the Center for Student Engagement is working through some summer projects and updates to the Fitness Center.
