As a member of the Black Student Union at University of Pikeville is being apart of UPIKE's premiere inclusion and diversity group. There are many trips surrounding black culture you will be able to attend most recently we went to see Tyler Perry's Madea Farewell Tour. We also attend national and regional conferences that you can attend on blackness and education. As a freshman member of BSU you receive a "Big Brother or Sister" your first semester on campus who is a go to person if you ever want any assistance from someone who looks like yourself.
