The mission of the Bio-Medical Science Honor Society (BMSHS) is to prepare undergraduate students for entry into select professional programs in the health sciences. These selected programs include undergraduate studies in medicine, veterinarian medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, and pharmacy. BMSHS aims to advance students' knowledge of careers in the health sciences through academic advisement, graduate school entrance exam preparation (e.g., MCAT, OAT, PCAT, DAT), workshops, and symposia. The BMSHS mentors/advisors at the University of Pikeville will guide students through the application process, assist with personal statements, recommendation letters, and preparation for interviews and provide opportunities to interact with recruiters from various professional schools.

Campus for Change is an organization that aims to provide educational resources and encourage change for our campus, our community, and our country. Our mission is to bring awareness to social issues and provide ways we as a group can make a change. This club plans to raise money for important causes, host events to get involvement, and dispense resource links to members who wish to involve themselves in positive change, no matter their political stance, during such a critical time. This club is a place to speak out in a comfortable, safe environment where members will respect and encourage each other. It is a judgment-free zone where arguing will not be tolerated. Though 2020 has been trying for many, our organization's mission is to become a source of hope for the students of the University of Pikeville.
