2021-22 Unsung Hero

The Unsung Hero award is an award given by The Office of Residence Life annually. The Unsung Hero is a RA/SRA that captures the essence of being a true team member. The Unsung hero is a key player to the RA Team and is always there to help fellow RA's.

Dylan Morris

Dylan, played a key role in the 2021-22 school year to help his zone through programing, Bulletin Boards and Duty.

2021-22 RA of The Year

The RA of The Year Award is presented to veteran RA that shows a direct impact to communities on campus. Focused more on the job of being an RA but also includes groups outside of the Reslife position.

Mattea Ware

Mattea was selected as RA of The Year for her efforts to help improve residents connection to the Reslife office. Mattea started the semester as an RA, but would later step up to become an SRA to help the transition to a 2 zone campus. All while playing softball, working on the Summer Crew and finishing her degree.

2021-22 Rookie RA of The Year

The Rookie RA of The Year award is presented to a new RA that shows promise in the role of being an RA.

Evan Flores

Evan became an RA at the start of the Spring 2022 semester. Evan quickly caught on to the flow of time management and showed tremendous efforts in making the community safe and enjoyable.

2021-22 RA Programmer of The Year

The RA Programmer of the Year shines a light on an RA that puts great efforts into building programs that Residents would enjoy, as well as help them succeed.

Shayla Sturgill

Shayla spent a great amount of time and effort into not only creating captivating programs but as well as bulletin boards for her residents which helped create a great community amongst her residents.

Sydni Dummitt

Becoming an RA in the fall of 2022, Sydni quickly to picked up duty shifts and helped her fellow RA's in their daily Tasks. Sydni continues to help the Division of Student Affairs regardless of other responsibilities all to improve the relationship between Student Affairs and Residents.

The RA of The Year Award is presented to veteran RA that shows a direct impact to communities on campus. Focused more on the job of being an RA but also includes groups outside of the Reslife position.

Alexis Helton

Since day one of becoming an RA Alexis was someone the division could count on to fulfil all the RA duties she was expected to and go above and beyond. Residing in College Square for her last year as an RA Alexis brought students to take ownership of their home and even gave all residents an outlet for learning oppurtunities though her programs.

Daniela Hernandez

Dani became an RA at the start of the fall 2022 semester. Despite a heavy workload with Volleyball, SGA and classes Dani quickly made her community welcoming and made residents feel at home.
